OUR VISION

Our vision is to plant and establish a network of evangelical churches, in the Spanish provinces of south-eastern Andalucia, which will have as its basis a full expression of Biblical Christianity through the Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry and Mission of its members. The churches should be Christ-centered and Christ-exalting.

OUR VALUES

Worship
Our fundamental attitude towards God is one of loving obedience and gratitude. Behind the word 'worship' stands the idea of 'showing our love to our God'. Our lives and our meetings should manifest this love in true spiritual worship. We desire to be characterised as a praying and worshipping people who spend time with their God.

Fellowship
The Church of Christ is the Body of Christ. We don't GO to church - we ARE church. We are members one of another, we are family, we are community bound together in love for Christ and for one another. Our intention is that our relationships should always demonstrate love and community.

Discipleship
Jesus called disciples - the disciple is set apart to God and follows, learns from and copies Jesus the Teacher. We will be grounded in His Word and, living under grace, risk all to follow where He leads, enabled by His indwelling Spirit.

Ministry
The ministry we have from Him is His ministry, but every member shares in it. Fellowship involves sharing together in a common task and calling. Only the gifting of the Holy Spirit enables us to minister effectively, so we expect to identify and exercise a whole range of New Testament gifts and ministries in our life together as He equips, leads and directs. In part, this will be expressed in the practice of prayer - fully convinced that the Lord answers prayer, and that the miraculous, while not commonplace, is not exceptional.

Mission
Jesus commissioned His followers to make disciples of all nations. Our constant desire will be to pray for and to seek to reach people and bring them to the Lord in whom they will find freedom and wholeness - full salvation - and to lead them also into discipleship.
